About Kfund

Kfund is a multi-stage, multi-product fund family that supports entrepreneurs in Southern Europe and Latin America during their early stages of their companies. With close to €650M in AUM, we invest from the pre-seed stage to Series B, offering checks ranging from €100,000 to €15 million. 

We’re proud of having built over the years a diverse team of ~25 people from different nationalities and with very different backgrounds, which we think is key in order to help our portfolio companies, but also to be able to learn from one another. What You’ll Do

As part of our investment team, you’ll:

• Lead deals end-to-end, including sourcing, analysis, negotiation, winning and closing.
• Actively manage the relationship with our portfolio company founders, in order to maximize their potential to become big businesses
• Build relationships with promising startups, founders, and co-investors.
• Dive deep into new technologies, trends, and markets, leveraging your curiosity to uncover disruptive opportunities.
• Develop and execute investment theses, working closely with our partners and portfolio companies.
• Represent kfund at events and foster a vibrant entrepreneurial community in the region.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Previous investment experience, ideally in VC or a related field, with a track record of identifying and supporting innovative startups.
• Passion: A genuine love for startups and emerging technologies. You’re the type of person who constantly tries out new products, dives deep into understanding the latest tech trends, and thrives on exploring how things work. Building relationships with founders excites you, as does discovering the next big idea.
• Mindset: Unrelenting curiosity, hustle, and grit. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty exploring new technologies or unstructured opportunities. You approach challenges with enthusiasm and a problem-solving mindset.
• Skills: An effective communicator with sharp analytical abilities and a talent for turning complex ideas into compelling narratives. You’re skilled at engaging with diverse stakeholders, from founders to investors.

Process:

• After an initial review and introductory call, we’ll select qualified candidates that will be invited to participate in a take-home case.
• Following the initial call and case, a longer call will take place with other members of our partnership to assess culture fit and other matters
