The right mix of former entrepreneurs, operators and leaders

In 2003 I founded coches.com, one of the first car selling marketplaces in Spain. The journey lasted more than 16 years and the company got acquired by Santander Consumer Finance in 2019. In the meantime I also co-founded pre-seed investment vehicle Vitamina K (CARTO, Mailtrack, Promofarma) and was an active business angel. I now want to help companies grow, based on my experience as an entrepreneur.

After beginning my career at Banco Santander and Argentaria, I joined ING Direct in 1998 as part of the team that introduced the bank to the Spanish market. In 2008, I was appointed CEO of ING Direct France, and in 2010, I returned to Spain to lead as CEO until 2014. Since then, I have focused my efforts on developing Kfund, where I support the creation of new tech and customer-centric companies, helping to drive the next generation of innovators.

I was previously Partner and Managing Director at JME Venture Capital and FJME, where I helped lead investments into now unicorns Jobandtalent and Flywire. With a long-standing career in venture capital, I joined Kfund before its first investment, bringing years of experience in building and leading investment teams. I have a particular interest in double-use technologies and software solutions for SMEs, especially those leveraging AI.

I studied computer science and economics. I spent more than 9 years at Credit Agricole, becoming VP of Investment Banking and leading several M&A transactions. My areas of expertise are big data, analytics, AI and deep tech, and I helped co-lead some of K Fund's investments in the space. I also manage MVB Fund, our fund of funds vehicle.

I like building products that people want, that are at the intersection of data, people and technology. I've co-founded three different companies in the data space (Vizzuality, CARTO and Tinybird) and I was also part of the product and tech teams of Zara.com for almost 3 years.

Deep operator turned venture capitalist. In 2003 founded my own startup (Imaste, which was acquired by ON24). I later served as COO of CARTO, helping the company grow to several million in ARR, and then joined Telefonica as Global Entrepreneurship Director.

I'm a former journalist now turned VC. I used to try to find companies before everyone else to write about them, but I do the same but to invest in them. I manage the popular newsletter Dealflow.es (10K subscribers), focused on the Spanish startup ecosystem. At K Fund I lead our comms and branding strategy, and I'm also part of the dealflow and investment teams.

Before joining K I was an analyst at BlueBull Ventures, an M&A boutique specializing in startups and high tech. I'm now part of K Fund's investment team, with a strong focus on areas such as logistics, foodtech and fintech. I also lead our pre-seed investment program, K Founders.

Before joining Kfund, I was a lawyer specializing in litigation and arbitration in civil, commercial, and corporate law. At K, I now focus on regulatory law as Head of Compliance and Risk Management for the firm and its funds. My primary responsibilities include protecting our investors, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing the risks associated with our activities.

I’m K Head of Legal and spend my time on the whole variety of legalese aspects of the investment and investors sides of the business. With previous experience at a magic circle English law firm, a French investment bank and a Basque venture capital. Passionate about sailing and reading.

Before taking the reins of K Fund’s finances I worked in a Big Four company where I specialised in the administration and management of closed funds and its management companies, including tax preparation, preparation of annual accounts and regulatory compliance. After a brief stint as Controller in one of Spain’s leading law firms I have decided to continue my professional development in the Finance department of K.

With a strong background in auditing at a Big Four firm, I have transitioned my career into the Venture capital space through my work at K. Currently, I am responsible for valuations and the audit of annual accounts, contributing to the financial management and oversight of the fund’s portfolio.

Engineer, Entrepreneur, Investor. In that order. Amongst other businesses, I co-founded Homa, a large mobile game publisher. Currently active Business Angel and leading the technology analysis, advisory and strategy at K.

Originally from Portugal, I have been working in the startup ecosystem for the past 10 years, across several roles and geographies. From acceleration programs, to VC funds, I have a diverse background in helping companies with growth pains and fundraising.

Lawyer turned investor, with experience in VC, PE and liquid investments. Former partner and CIO of RXZ Investimentos, an investment company doing liquid and non-liquid investments throughout Latam and in selected global markets. Former founder and partner of VC firm Provence Capital and alternative investments asset management firm Mogno Capital. Experience in board roles, operator and mentorship. Now focused on building a first class presence for K Fund in Latam.

I was responsible for launching Stripe in Spain and Portugal, and served as head of both countries for the fintech giant for more than 6 years. Prior to that, I also held several GTM and sales roles at technology companies, and I'm now looking to apply that prior experience in the investment world to help startups scale fast and efficiently.

I’ve always been a curious person. My past experiences in the fields of Medicine and, more recently, Business and International Relations, are proof of that. I joined K to learn from the best while helping promote innovation in our country, aiming for a better future.

Grounded in my Indonesian roots and shaped by a career across Europe, I bring a global lens and a fascination for tech and the sciences. With experience in M&A, consulting, and venture development, I’ve found my place in VC—starting in healthtech and now investing all across the tech landscape to reshape what’s possible.

I’ve always had a passion for innovation, disruption, and stepping out of my comfort zone - something that has been strengthened by my exposure to international experiences at various times in my life. Following my internship at K Fund, I had no doubts that venture capital industry was the place to be to make an impact through technology. And as a foodie digital content creator in my spare time, both the FoodTech and AgriTech spaces are of particular interest to me.

My previous international academic experiences sparked interest in the intersection of technology and business. Having graduated as a Biomedical Engineer, I joined K to closely follow the most disruptive technological trends, understanding their competitive differentiation within the industry.

I've spent my career building and leading post-sale functions at high-growth startups, including Dropbox and Loom. Along the way, I've advised or invested in over 50 startups, while partnering with Tier-1 VCs including First Round Capital and a16z. My family and I now live in Portugal; I'm thrilled to bring my experience to help build the Iberian startup ecosystem with K Fund.

Dedicated professional with 10+ years of experience providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to C-level personnel as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant. My expertise lies in coordinating and leading administrative and operational functions for senior-level staff and department directors. Backed by superior communication and multitasking capabilities, I excel at providing organizacional and time-management skills and driving optimal office efficiency and success.

I’m a proud content freak who has spent the last two decades putting words together, relaunching newspapers, building companies (Visual Thinking, Festrip, pirt.co, and MOTUM), and helping brands craft stories that make an impact. At K, my mission is to blend creativity and strategy into communication that works.

With a background in biomedical engineering, I transitioned into consulting to explore the business side. My passion for health, tech and innovation led me to pursue an MSc in Digital Health & Entrepreneurship at UCL, and after diving into the startup and VC ecosystem, I knew this was my path. Now at Kfund, I strive to contribute to the acceleration of key technologies across Spain, Southern Europe, and LatAm.

I studied Business Administration and Entrepreneurship at Babson College, where I discovered my passion for venture capital and innovation. I started my career in investment banking, with prior experience in private equity, where I gained valuable financial and analytical skills. Now, as part of Kfund, I’m excited to be in venture capital, identifying and backing disruptive companies that are shaping the future.
